Historic Bible makes rare return to Bala.

Mary Jones bought the Welsh language Bible in Bala in 1800 from the Rev Thomas Charles
after saving from the age of  9,and walking 26 miles barefoot from her home in Llanfihangel y Pennant.
Her story inspired Rev Thomas Charles to help set up the Bible Society.

The Bible is kept at a library in Cambridge,but has returned to Bala for 3 days at The Mary Jones Centre.
